Disiplinary Enquiry Coaching
Our comprehensive coaching programme is designed to equip you with the necessary knowledge of labour law and the skills to investigate, initiate and chair a disciplinary enquiry.
Position yourself as a trusted leaderwho deals with disciplinary matters fairly and constructively.
Are your managers competent to initiate and chair enquiries?
Instead of sending them for off-the-job training, why not try a different approach to upskilling them?
Bruno Bruniquel’s disciplinary training courses and videos have been, and still are widely used throughout Southern Africa. He now offers a different approach through online coaching.
- Online coaching is geared to addressing the individual needs of managers and the concerns of management regarding how disciplinary matters are handled.
- Managers are encouraged to use their own cases and current issues so there is immediate buy-in and transfer of learning.
- Coaching sessions of up to 2-hours are arranged at times best suited to meet your managers’ work schedules and pressures.
- You can decide how many sessions your managers require based on their experience and competence.
- Managers will receive comprehensive written material that they can use for reference purposes. However, their knowledge and skills will be acquired via a practical coaching process aimed at encouraging them to:
- Conduct a thorough investigation and secure the necessary evidence;
- Correctly identify the misconduct and draft appropriate charges;
- Issue notice of the disciplinary enquiry;
- Prepare a case outline;
- Prepare questions for own witnesses and cross examination of opposing witnesses;
- Prepare witnesses to know what to expect in the disciplinary enquiry;
- Prepare draft closing arguments;
- and practise case presentation;
- and chairing under the direction of an experienced coach.
- This approach which is fully interactive, is not only cheaper but, more importantly, it minimises time lost off-the job.
- Basic Labour Law and Corrective Coaching Skills may also be addressed in this way.
- During the period of coaching and for two months afterwards, managers have free telephonic support to assist them on any labour relations issues which they might encounter at work.
Bruno is backed by a team of highly experienced coaches who are subject matter experts in disciplinary matters, so we can in most cases, accommodate the times and dates that best suit you.
